Due to the pandemic and drastically-increased internet commerce, US shipping services are currently over-burdened. This can translate to longer and less predictable shipping times. As the name suggests, USPS Priority Mail pieces are given priority over First Class Parcel (our normal shipping method). Priority Mail pieces spend less time in sorting centers and ride in planes more; therefore they usually arrive faster.

The further your shipping address is from us (North Carolina), the more effective a Priority Mail upgrade will be. We don’t recommend this option if you live within a a few hundred miles of Asheville, North Carolina, as it may not actually reduce your shipping time (generally 2-3 days).
