Juniper Leaf Essential Oil
100% pure Juniper leaf essential oil (Juniperus communis). The aroma is lovely and smells just like fresh, piney and spicy Juniper branches found around homes everywhere and in Gin; but a bit sweeter. Juniper leaf oil is often used in meditation practices and detox routines.

Batch JC-001 (June 2021):
The branches that went into this batch were from unwanted landscape bushes at a no-spray, high-elevation home in Wolf Laurel, NC. Steam-distilled from the needles/leaves, small branches and a few berries this oil has a bright, slightly-sweet aroma that floats on top of that familiar juniper-pine base. When you drink Gin, you are drinking a highly diluted version of this oil that probably includes a few extra (bitter) compounds that steam distillation doesn’t pick up. Leaf essential oil from Juniper species is known to be diuretic and clarifying and is commonly used in meditation and detox routines.*
